Air Quality in a Changing World
3-6 April 2017, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
The U.S. EPA, the Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (TF HTAP), and the Air Quality Model Evaluation International Initiative (AQMEII) are holding a set of overlapping workshops under the banner of “Air Quality in a Changing World.” These workshops will be held 3-6 April 2017 at EPA’s campus in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina.
- Workshop 1: Monday and Tuesday (3-4 April 2017), will focus on drafting policy-relevant findings from the HTAP2/AQMEII3/MICS3 modeling experiments and outlining an overview results paper for the HTAP/AQMEII/MICS special issue of ACP.
- Workshop 2: Wednesday and Thursday (5-6 April 2017), will start with a review of policy-relevant finding from past work on the impact of climate change on air quality and then kickoff a set of 13 new projects that have been awarded grants by EPA's STAR Program on the topic of Particulate Matter and Related Pollutants in a Changing World.
